I had to go out and buy a pair of titanium snips for cutting some stainless steel wire. So I went to the local hardware store to toss them some business. And ended up buying nothing as all the guy had was cheap Chinese rip off tools, selling for nearly the same price as good American made titanium snips and the tools were just stainless steel!! So I read the owner the riot act, about his wanting local business yet trying to sell Chinese tools for the nearly the same price as American made quality tools and making an exorbitant profit and putting Americans out of business. He did not bat an eye and tried to sell me a cable cutter, which is about like needing a 1 lb hammer and the salesman trying to sell you sledge hammer. So I really read this crook the riot act. He won’t forget for the rest of his life what I said to him. It is all about increasing his gross profit and selling the public Chinese slave labor junk. So I went to the Homosexual Depot, aka Home Depot where I could at least buy the USA made titanium snips, although Homosexual depot is full of Chinese ‘knock off’, they at least had the ‘real’ article there. Now I needed a ‘backup’ impact driver as my USA made Dewalt is getting enough use, I don’t want to burn it out on big jobs or when I really am trying to drive something I have no business trying to. So I see a Ryobi p230 impact driver, with 2 batteries, and 1 recharger on sale for $99.00. I kid you not. This tool has nearly the same torque rating as the $300 Dewalt impact driver I have. The Ryobi tool is literally below the cost of manufacturing. Now as ‘backup’ throw away type of tools I typically purchase Black and Decker even though virtually everything they make is now made in China. But now for backup tools I buy Ryobi. I had a ‘nasty’ job where I needed a jig saw to cut metal and wood and rather than use my good $300 dollar jig saw I wanted to buy a backup tool and keep it if it lasted, or throw it away. So I purchased as Black and Decker as it least it an American company, and years ago, Black and Decker tools lasted. Back when Americans made and designed the tools. Well this Black and Decker Jig saw did not even make it half way through the job before it burned out and of course was made in China. I did not return the tool as well I was abusing the heck out of it. And that would be dishonest.
I went back and bought the low end Ryobi jigsaw, which was only 10 dollars more than the Black and Decker. And finished the Job and the Ryobi just keeps on cutting. And at 1/5 the price is nearly as good as the Dewalt Jig saw.
Now of course in reciprocating saws, no one beats Old Milwaukee and there is no need for a backup tool. In general if you can afford Old Milwaukee tools there is no need to buy a backup tool, although you have problems with neighbors who are ‘thieves’ masquerading as ‘tool borrowers’ and thieves in general who just love to steal tools. Americans still make excellent and the best in the quality tools and the Germans are 2nd. Everything China makes is just pure crap and is designed to be a ripoff and profit split between the distributor and reseller and retail and exporter.
Now I went down to the local lumber yard and order a lot of lumber for a big project. And I ordered air dried, better grade 12 foot douglas fir and had it delivered. And I told the guy I needed unwarped wood and he promised to make sure the wood was not warped. What shows up at delivery. Green wood, cupped warped, bow warped and crooked warp. And this wood was ‘expensive’. Now you have every ‘right’ to not accept warped wood. In fact these people are supposed to sort through their wood and bin the defective pieces. But I just just shut my mouth and straightened the wood out which you can do with green timber. So Americans have J-wish ethics anymore, and not Christian Ethics. Anything to make a buck and screw your fellow Americans. Still I don’t think if you lived in the Midwest or the South you would have this type of problem, of ’shylock’ type of behavior. I can only imagine what this current generation raised on porn and video games will turn out. Americans have seemed to embrace every con the J-ws have including embracing their business ethics. Black and Decker does not have to ‘outsource’. Heck at least the Japanese will not allow the J-w into his country and has fought it tooth and nail and believes the Japanese people come first. Even the Chinese put the Chinese people first. America is the only country I know where Americans put Americans last. Look at Stanley Tools- they went offshore to English Cayman Island Tax dodge and sent their tools to China and Taiwan. The J-wish people in their writings, their intellectuals have taken great pride in calling themselves the ‘corrupters’ and ‘destroyers’. And whatever vestige of ethics Americans had in business as Wall Street has shown us has gone right to Israel, which is polite world for h-ll. Americans need to start behaving a lot better!!!
What happened to my American titanium snips. Well I leant them to a ‘neighbor’ who claimed he lost them and said several times he would replace them and did not, now he is a J-w so I expected that but did not want to be ‘racist’ and not lend him the tool. Someday I’m going to meet and honest Jew. I know they are out there!!!
Anyone else seeing this general decline in American values and ethics?
